Welcome to Anita Shikany's Pledge Page for Team in Training

Cancer survivor and honored patient, Rennie Auiler.

Five years ago Rennie was diagnosed with diffuse large-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, stage 2, grade B. Thanks to research, treatment was available for her disease and she has been cancer free for almost 5 years now. Rennie gives back to those who have helped her by volunteering part-time at St. John's Mid-America Cancer Center and is very involved in cancer support groups. She likes to read and write poetry and is writing a book about her cancer experience as a single mom. She is our cheerleader, cheering us on during our long runs! She writes, "I want to thank you SO MUCH for participating in Team in Training! I know you can do it! You're in my thoughts and prayers to FINISH THE RACE!!!".

Thanks, Rennie--I'm going to need all the prayers I can get!
